SBP launches Asaan Mobile Account

KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Monday launched Asaan Mobile Account (AMA) in a bid to enhance digital access and use of formal financial services in the country, a statement said.

Now the account holder can deposit money in his or her account at any branchless banking agent and use the same for transactions through mobile phone. AMA allows the opening of a branchless banking account by dialing a simple code *2262# on a mobile phone

1. Customer cand Register new Account. with Bank Al-Falah, Easypaisa, Jazzcash, U Bank, Konnect by HBL, Meezan Bank, Finca, UBL Bank. b dialing *2262# the selecting option 1.
2. 2. Customers can Link his/her previous account with this string by dialing *2262# the selecting option 2.

By Selecting Option 1:

1. Customer cand Register anyone new Account. with Bank Al-Falah, Easypaisa, JazzCash, U Bank, Konnect by HBL, Meezan Bank, Finca, UBL Bank.

2. Customers can Link his/her previous account with this string by dialing *2262#

By Selecting Option 2 :

Link anyone of the previous Account of Bank Al-Falah, Easypaisa, JazzCash, Konnect by HBL, Finca, UBL Bank, JS Bank, FirstPay By FMFB
